A little of everything and all

I often think that my child, with whom, I found myself on this journey, has interests scattered all over the place. Given his gifts, he is, to say the least, a little better than average in almost anything he tries. Sometimes, that quenches his interests and we never look back at the activity. And yet at other times it only piques the thirst of learning more. If all the things that interested him were to be given a physical shape, it would be a rainbow colored long bow like the Japanese Wakyu. That is how, at least, I envision it... and I think through my blog and pages , I would strive to bring a structure to the learning, so that the whole process becomes more fun than overwhelming both for the child and the adult present. Alongside that I would like to address some of the challenges that my child and I, and probably many more parents and educators face each day in our respective roles as learners. An example to that would be the continuous struggle of my child to stay focussed. Instead what happens is that he takes breaks as soon as he starts an activity, the breaks that are meant for 5 minutes but then go on endless. As a parent, sometimes it is frustrating when plans go beyond time limits and in endless loops, but what is disheartening is the frustration of my child to cope up with time management. I , as a child, spaced out in order to cope with my failure to manage time. MY child takes the shield of the screen. He isnt different from me, he just has different tools. What i would like to also offer are resources to equip ourselves better. As you all must be noticing , there e endless resources on the internet , in the books, and on the social media in general. I would like to curate the content , so that you do not have to scour the internet and the books all over again, and hopefully, you will build on what is provided here. As a society, we will make progress. This page is to bring all those big little problems that we face while we prepare ourselves as individuals to meet the next day as a better version of ourselves.
